The Wilshire Law Firm of Los Angeles recently reached an agreement for a $3.25 million settlement on behalf of a woman who was the victim of a car accident in Inglewood, California.
Wilshire Law Firm trial attorneys Colin Jones and Bobby Saadian represented Oralia Michel, who was injured in her car while stopped a red light on Interstate 405. The driver, who worked for J. Deluca Fish Company, rear ended her while he was on the job. Saddian and Jones brought suit against the driver and the employer.
According to testimony, Michel suffered injuries to her cervical and lumbar spine, as well as brain trauma. After returning to work for a brief time, various pains in her back, left side and left arm forced her to stop working. After physical therapy failed to improve her position, she was forced to undergo cervical spinal fusion surgery in February 2018.
