Jill Kotvis, The Environmental LawyerSM, is an expeditor, finding creative and productive solutions to complex transactional and compliance environmental issues. She has successfully resolved hundreds of matters involving environmental due diligence and liability transfer, vapor intrusion, dry cleaners, gas stations, industrial sites, oil and gas E&P, asbestos, mold and wetlands, and closures in the Voluntary Cleanup, Innocent Owner/Operator, Corrective Action, Petroleum Storage Tank and Drycleaner Remediation Programs.

Referred by numerous real estate attorneys and respected by her peers, Jill is AV rated by her peers in the legal profession and Martindale Legal Directory, the highest rating for ethical standards and professional ability. In 2014 she was appointed to the World Commission on Environmental Law, and in 2016 she was the only U.S. private attorney invited to participate in the First World Environmental Law Congress held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She established her firm in 1998 after chairing the environmental practice group at Hughes & Luce, LLP, as an associate at Winstead, and as environmental and a division counsel for LTV Corporation. She received her Juris Doctor from George Washington University.
