Robert S. Steinberg limits his practice to federal taxation. He is also a CPA. For more than 45 years he has been representing clients, large and small, in civil and criminal tax matters including “egg shell” audits, criminal tax investigations, Off shore Voluntary Disclosures, Streamlined Filings, fi ling delinquent, amended, Fifth Amendment, or other complex returns, “Ponzi scheme” losses, divorce tax issues and innocent spouse claims, employment tax examinations, penalty abatements (E.G., Form 5472), Collection Due Process Hearings, Tax Court, blocked foreign income and foreign exchange controls, and tax planning for U.S. and foreign individuals. Robert’s articles have appeared in numerous legal journals. He speaks regularly on divorce, off shore and other tax subjects.
