John McKay’s law practice is focused entirely on aviation. He is licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration as a Commercial Pilot, and has served as the pilot-in-command of a variety of aircraft. He has tried cases to jury verdicts in state and federal courts for more than 25 years, and also handles complex purchase and sale transactions involving jet and turboprop aircraft . He has been involved in the successful resolution of claims arising from several of the largest airliner crashes in recent history, as well as numerous cases of in-flight injuries and private aircraft accidents. His hands-on experience in aviation, coupled with his experience in claims resolution, is unparalleled in the legal community. He is licensed in several states, the Province of Ontario, Canada, and in England and Wales. He has been listed in Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World.
