Karen Artz Ash

Karen Artz Ash has focused her practice on trademark and copyright matters for designers, manufacturers, retailers, and other fashion and beauty businesses for more than 25 years. She is experienced in all aspects of intellectual property, including commercial transactions and disputed matters. Karen acts as a mediator in the Southern District of New York, where she served on the Mediation Advisory Committee, and as a mediator for the Second Circuit Court of Appeals in the CAMP Mediation Program. She is an adjunct professor at New York Law School, the author of a monthly column, a contributing author to several books on fashion law, and she has just been elected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation.
