Personal Injury as a Calling Before graduating from Boston University School of Law, Gropper’s career had already been shaped by tragedy: his brother was hospitalized for two years and lost all four limbs after a house fire caused third-degree burns over 85 percent of his body. Gropper credits the work of an excellent personal injury attorney for helping his family through the immediate aftermath and allowing his brother an optimum quality of life in the years ahead.

“I experienced firsthand the importance of having expert legal advice at a critical, emotionally charged moment,” says Gropper, who is active with the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors and serves as the founder and program coordinator of Nassau University Medical Center’s SOAR program. “Now, as a lawyer, I am passionate about helping injured parties and their families find justice and accountability in their cases, so that they can concentrate on recovering and rehabilitating, or finding consolation after the loss of a loved one.”
