Michael A. Ferruggia

Michael A. Ferruggia is an actively engaged policy advisor, legal counselor, and educator in the real estate industry. He is consistently engaged as a keynote lecturer and industry trainer for all aspects of property law, mortgage lending, real estate transactions, and current market trends. In 2002, Mr. Ferruggia founded the general practice partnership of Ferruggia & Calisto, LLP, now with offices in Central Islip, Southampton, Miller Place, and Melville, New York. Today, Mr. Ferruggia continues his practice concentration in real estate transactions and litigation, representing an extensive base of institutional, corporate, and private clientele.

Complimenting his private practice, Mr. Ferruggia has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at both the Patchogue and Bethpage, New York campuses of Briarcliffe College.

Committed to raising the industry standard of practice in New York, Mr. Ferruggia chartered The New York Center of Real Estate (NYCORE) in 2013; a fully accredited real estate school offering relevant and contemporary Continuing Education programs to real estate professionals. Mr. Ferruggia also serves as Counsel to the Board of the Hamptons North Fork REALTORS® Association (HANFRA). As such, he serves as the legal liaison and voice of Long Island REALTORS® in both state and national matters.

Mr. Ferruggia now also proudly serves as an Adjunct Professor of real estate law at Villanova University’s College of Professional Studies.
