Since 1973, Ralph C. “Red Dog” Jones has been representing clients who have been wronged by the acts of others. His experience in the fields of personal injury, wrongful death, professional liability, and business disputes has led Jones to many courthouses in the State of Texas. His involvement with clients from all walks of life has led him to develop a deep empathy for those who have been wronged and to help them in their time of need. Jones puts the interest of clients first. He will counsel them, advise them and represent them to obtain the best result possible. He has represented those injured in cases involving defective products, automobile collisions, slip and falls, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, boat collisions, airplane and airport injuries and fatalities and many other forms of civil trial litigation. Jones’s respect for the right to trial by jury as guaranteed by the Seventh Amendment, is evidenced by the respect which he shows the judiciary and opposing parties and counsel. Jones is board certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law. He was President of the Dallas Bar Association in 1995, a past President of the Dallas Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and a past Director of the State Bar of Texas. His belief in the right to trial by jury has led him to teach a course in Trial Advocacy at SMU School of Law for many years. He has taught or lectured at various trial seminars throughout his career. Jones is a lifelong resident of Dallas, Texas. He is a member of the Incarnation Episcopal Church and is actively involved in many civic entities, including The Retina Foundation, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and races sailboats in his free time.
